  1. Those of us who tried this loved it...DH wouldn't taste it cuz he doesn't think fruit and salad greens go together...but the rest of us including my "almost" 3 year old grandson cared for it...he said "I really care for the leafs, can I have more please?" Thanks for posting it...:)

  2. Guess I'm yet another one who'd never have thought to combine strawberries with arugula, but it definitely makes for a very special salad, especially with this very simple dressing! Will do this one again, for sure! [Made & reviewed in Zaar Stars recipe tag]

  3. A positively winning combination. I love strawberries dressed with balsamic vinegar, but I would never have thought to pair them with roka - absolutely terrific! Parmesan shavings added just the right touch of savoury saltiness to this salad. Thanks!

  4. What a great salad Awalde. We enjoyed it very much. My picky dh went back for seconds...now thats a compliment. I loved the peppery green, the sweet strawberries, salty parmesana reggiano and the tangy vinegar dressing. What a treat, excellent flavors and great textures that worked perfectly together. Simple and delicious. Thanks so much for sharing. Made for ZWT7 (Witchin Kitchen)

  5. Nary a thing I can say. The recipe says' it all. Beautiful in presentation, delight for the palette, and sweetness of the morning sunshine. Followed exactly, although, I confess to being swooned over our own strawberries and arugula. Swoon. Thanks for posting, awalde! ZWT7
