Ooooh! Sake is so good to begin with, but this makes it even better. I used 1/2 pineapple and 1/2 mango because I couldn't decide between the two. It was a wise decision. I also took the fruit and used it in a sake gelatin dessert I saw on Take Home Chef the other day and it was AMAZING!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Nice! It's done "cooking." I used sake and fresh pineapple chunks. Great for vodka too I'm sure. Extremely fruity and aromatic. Plus cheaper than the fruited liquors you buy in liquor stores. One question though, why discard fruit? It looked well preserved to me.
