This is an acquired taste. I kept telling my kid, "Just give it another try and see if it grows on you."
He didn't buy it. I have never had deviled ham before. I am going to munch out on this for the weekend but I am not going to make it again.

I've made this dip for multiple occasions, including work parties and the Super Bowl, and it vanishes every time! So yummy, and pretzels are definitely a necessity! Add a nice cold beer and you'll be marveling about how great life is!!

I have to confess that I wasn't sure about this one, but figured it was worth a try. Boy, am I glad I did! It was really good! I found myself going back to it again...and again...and again! I made it as an appetizer for Thanksgiving 2008, using the recommended pretzel sticks, and finally had to just walk away from it! I made it up and let it sit overnight in the fridge. I used the recommended 1 tablespoon of Frank's, as I'd never used it before. It was pleasantly spicy without being overwhelmingly so. When (not if) I make it again, I'll probably add another teaspoon or two...just for that extra kick. Very nice dip...and the pretzel sticks are a perfect accompaniment! Made for Stacy's Cook-a-thon, 2008. Miss you, hon'. (((hugs)))

I sent this off to work with DH for a potluck day. He came back with rave reviews from everyone. He told me to make sure and put this on the make again list. Made as posted with no changes. Thanks, Stacky5LRC for posting.

This WAS suprisingly good! I served this as suggested with pretzet sticks. I used only 1 tablespoon of hot sauce, but probably could have used more.

We really like this, and yes it is addictive. If you want to give your guests something different, you must try this. WE went through a whole bag of pretzels. I used the Kraft bacon and cheese..(store did not have right one) My recipe, is Spicy Deviled Ham Dip? But has same ingredients. Thanks, Stacky 5LRC
