directions

  • Mix ingredients well and place in large resealable bag. Add meat.
  • Squish meat around in marinade to coat well. Marinate for 4 to 24 hours. The longer the tastier!
  • A tip from me: Leave bag slightly open. Fill sink with enough water to cover bag. With the open side of bag up, gently place in water. You will notice that all of the air will be squeezed out of the bag. When the water is nearing the top of the bag, seal the bag. Take out of sink, pat the bag dry and place in refrigerator. Let it marinate! :).

  1. I used the marinade for a flat iron steak and grilled the meat after a 4 hour bath (for the steak, not me!). A very nice change of pace without being overpowering. I served it with steamed carrot/parsnip mixture and sauteed kale with malt vinegar. Recommended.

  2. This was a wonderful marinade! I used it on skin on chicken thighs and then grilled it. I didn't use the ziplock bag though, I just used a dish. I used Recipe #162125 for the curry powder. Made for ZWT8.

I love great food and I particularly like trying cuisines new to me! Although I don't prepare as much food as I used to, creating in my kitchen is still one of my favourite things to do. Enjoy!
