My standard broccoli recipe is to add lots and lots of chopped garlic and crushed red chillies. Tried this recipe today and absolutely loved it. My 2yr old liked it too. Thanks!

This was a very interesting tasting dish. I am not so sure I liked all of the seasoning and then additon of cocobut in this dish, but I am not one to like turmeric much to begin with or coconut in savory dishes also. I steamed my broccoli first as suggest by a previous reviewer, then added it to the finshed sauce. This is a great side dish if you want a change from the normal broccoli side.

Loved the mix of spices in this dish! Quite different from the usual way I serve broccoli and we loved it! Thanks Nyteglori! :)

Good, and extremely simple. Came together very quickly- I found the broccoli a bit too mushy. I'd probably not steam them next time, perhaps cook them with everything else longer, maybe covered, so it steams WITH the spices? Thank you for sharing.

This is a very nice side dish for an Indian meal. Lovely colors and flavors that are subtle enough to blend well with other dishes. As for the combination overall, my son did not complain once that his favorite vegetable (broccoli) was mixed with a less than favorite vegetable (tomatoes) and he finished it off. Thanks for sharing.

I could not find garam masala and I brought my computer to a friend's house and didn't have the resources to make my own so I skipped it THIS time only. (I know - BAD Mimi!) However, this was OUTSTANDING even without it. I must make this again with the garam masala because it would probably be a 6 star recipe. At my friend's house - she doesn't like Indian food - well.... she does NOW! This recipe converted her. The combination of tumeric and coriander is so delicious. The nice cooling contrast of yogurt was terrific. I actually caught her using her finger to lap up the little bit of sauce left on the plate! :-) Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe Nyteglori!
