A wonderful side dish that dressed up some rather plain chicken. I had no tomatoes or cardamon, but there was plenty of flavor even without those.

Yummy foodee! It tasted great, yet because of a few minor changes, it had a kick to it. Thank you for posting!

This was one of the first "proper" meals I made for my boyfriend and I in our new house, and it turned out great, I was so proud. I added frozen peas like you suggested, also some other mixed frozen vegies to make it a main dish. Thanks so much for posting it, it's definitely become a favourite here.

Lovely potatoes! We liked the spice combination very much. I used a 400 g can of chopped tomatoes, so got a fairly saucy dish. Will be making this again. Thank you very much for sharing this recipe with us.

This was easy to make and we both, DH and I, liked it very much. I served it as a main dish by adding 2 more tomatoes and 1/2 cup frozen peas, like you suggested. I had to sub the chili with red pepper flakes, will use 1/2 t next time, I was a little too timid today. :) The one thing I did completely different was leaving out the yoghurt, because I was afraid it would curdle and I would not have liked the pinkish color it would have given the dish. I served the yoghurt mixed with a pinch of salt and a little minced tomatoes as a side dish together with some bread. - A very good vegeterian meal.

Pets I make a variant of this but the addition of the whole spices I had never tried :D!!!! I really loved it and liked the addition of the yoghurt too. I used the green chilli and added the peas as you have mentioned. We had it with a dal and rice and roast chicken. Thank you. :) Fay

This is really tasty and we make it often at home. I like to serve this with my own yellow cumin rice{recipe yet to go up on Zaar} and some plain yogurt with a tall glass of chilled mango juice! It just puts my family in food and drink heaven:-)!
