A really good rice recipe. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and loved the crunchiness the almonds gave it.

Simple, yet very delicious. I had some mushrooms in my fridge that I needed to get rid of so I chopped them up and added them to this dish. It was so good. It didn't need the mushrooms, but they gave the dish some meaty texture.

So fast and simple. I was using this as a side dish rather that something to top with a curry, so I used about 1/2 cup of onions, 1 tsp of curry power and salt.

Have you tried this recipe for Jackie's Indian Rice. I made it earlier today and it is so, so good. Go ahead and try it while I run for coffee and pastries...*grinning through a mouthful of freshly baked and frosted goodness* Made for ZWT#8~India.

This is a great rice recipe! It was easy and delicious. I can see using it a lot for sides not only for curries, but for other dishes as well. Made for ZWT 8

This was a perfect rice side to serve with any Indian style main meal. I used basmati ricefor this recipe. Photo also being posted. Reviewed for ZWT8 tour of India.

The fact that this is made with already cooked rice is a plus on many occasions! The almonds and raisins make it very special to serve with curries and other Indian or Thai dishes. I had about 1/2 cup of shredded coconut leftover from another recipe, and I tossed it in, too! Yummy! I absolutely love this recipe and will turn to it often. Thanks, Jackie!
