      Cook onions and almonds in butter until golden. Add raisins and heat through until they puff. Add mixture to rice; mix lightly. Serve with curry.

      A really good rice recipe. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and loved the crunchiness the almonds gave it.

      Have you tried this recipe for Jackie's Indian Rice. I made it earlier today and it is so, so good. Go ahead and try it while I run for coffee and pastries...*grinning through a mouthful of freshly baked and frosted goodness* Made for ZWT#8~India.
