from Spread cream cheese on your favorite crackers and top with this zesty relish. Red bell peppers and sweet onion are simmered in white wine vinegar and red pepper flakes. Cooking/prep times does not include 4 hours of refrigeration.

I halved the recipe and did cook it a little longer than 30 minutes. It turned out nice and thick and delicious on a veggie dog! Thanks Herb-Cat! Made for Pick a Chef(PAC) event.


  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix together red bell peppers, onion, white wine vinegar, sugar and crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Stirring occasionally, cook 30 minutes, or until thickened. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight before serving.
