Ok, this is a good recipe, but I made a couple of adjustments. I sauteed the apple pieces in two tablespoons of butter with some cinnamon sugar before adding them to the batter, used two smaller loaf tins instead of a large tin, and baked for 50 min. OH MY GOODNESS! They were perfectly baked with a browned crust and a moist inner breading. Yum! Note: I used one large, rippening pacific rose apple.
