Not many recipes get my 5 star review, but this one absolutely deserves it! I have been searching and trying many different recipes for garlic bread, much to my dissappointment, but EVERYONE loved this bread! It is very easy to make and tastes very good. The only thing I heard from my family is that it had a little bit too much cheese, but that was probably my fault since I did not actually measure it (only estimated!). Still, this one will be a favorite for years to come. Thanks!
Easy and tasty. A little greasy. I might try butter instead of margarine next time. Leftovers were good too!

Mmmmm....yummy... I've already given this recipe to several people at work. Even works well as leftovers!
I'm very new at cooking stuff, but these were ridiculously simple to make and tasted great. If you apply too much spread, your bread will come out gooey on top, rather than crispy and flaky - but that's a matter of personal preference. I'm sure it would taste great either way.
perfect! i made this for dinner tonight using pre-sliced (thin) french bread and it couldn't have been better. i used 3/4 cup of butter and mozz cheese with a little colby jack thrown in (that's what i had on hand). the seasoned melted butter went all the way through the bread leaving the whole thing crisp and flavorful. couldn't have been happier... i think i'm addicted!
I made this for dinner tonight with mozzerella instead of cheddar just because it's what I had on hand. And the family loved it. I will make this again. Thanks.
