A great side to many dishes, especially Mexican. Easy to prepare. Has a nice sweet taste.
- 1 1⁄4 cups self-rising cornmeal
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cream-style corn
- 1⁄3 cup cooking oil
- 3 eggs, lightly salted
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine all of the ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Place batter in a greased 9x13 baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
