Had 1/2 of a rotisserie chicken to prepare for dinner. Followed the recipe exactly -- although was concerned with the use of undiluted tomato paste -- worked out fine -- except would add salt and pepper to chicken portion -- might consider pizza sauce instead if I do it again. STILL have enough for another meal !! Thanks for posting, Barb.

What a simple and delicious dish! I made this for dinner tonight using soy milk and soy cheese in place of the dairy ingredients, and it was so yummy! It's even better than pizza! I'll definitely be making this one again.

I used 2 tsp of fat free parmesan grated spread on the bottom of the pie plate and 1 tsp on top of bisquick, about 8 oz of baked chicken, 1 cup of fat free shredded mozzarella, no salt added tomato paste, reduced fat bisquick, skim milk and egg beaters instead of eggs. Thank you for the yummy recipe.

Delicious! I picked up a rotisserie chicken to cut back on prep time. I also used prepared pizza sauce instead of tomato paste, as one reviewer suggested. To cut some calories, I used Heart Smart Bisquick and low-fat cheeses. This made a great weeknight meal...one we will enjoy again and again!

This was very yummy! We didn't get 6 servings more like 3-4 because my husband liked it so much that he wouldn't eat just one piece. Thank you for an easy yummy recipe.

Maybe it's my oven, but my pie did not firm up in the center, and I cooked it at 400 degrees for the full 35 minutes + 8. The crust at the outer edges was fine, even a little too brown, which is why I didn't let it cook any longer. My husband ate his serving, but said it needed a little more "tang". Sorry, will probably not make this again.

Made this a couple of times before. It's easy, tasty and perfect when your craving Italian food/pizza, but can't go out. DH also loves taking the leftovers for work. Thanks for posting!

I love this recipe- I too found this origionally on bettycrocker.com. That is a great site. These "impossibly easy" pies are just that- super easy, flavorful and fun! they're a great 'make ahead and freeze' meal. I do that then just defrost in the microwave and mix the bisquick mix and pop it in the oven- and poof- dinner in no time! Not all the pies are fantastic- but this one is... very very good!!! :)

yummmmmmmmmm is all I can say. This was so good I snuck a second piece. I followed the recipe exactly as you have it except only had 1c chicken. It looked so pretty when it came out of the oven. The taste was great...I waited until the cheese started to brown....8 min. Definitely a keeper. thanks

The flavor of this dish was pretty good. However, my pie plate evidently wasn't deep enough. I spilled topping everywhere trying to pour it on. I ended up scooping everything into an 8X8 dish (and it fit great). I did like the idea of assembling the "pie" this way and will probably try other seasonings on the chicken before pouring the topping over it. Thanks for the idea.

This was very easy to make a quick weekday meal. The meat with sauce was flavorful but the crust was very bland. My family didn't care fot it. Im going to try it again but with some garlic powder, onion salt and some more oregano.

I followed the recipe as stated and it surely made a nice mid-week casserole - different and easy to prepare, however it did seem to be a bit dry and could probably use a bit of tomato sauce or sour cream when serving. I froze half of this in a suitable plastic container but first put a piece of plastic wrap over the top before I put on the lid. This actually was more moist after freezing however could do with a bit of sauce or something. I heated this up from frozen. I removed it from the plastic container, put it in a proper fitting baking dish and left it uncovered in on 425F degrees for 35 minutes. The time would have to be adjusted for how much you are reheating to make sure it is heated through. I will definitely make this again. BTW, this could also be made in high volumes for a gathering. Thank you for this.
