Found this recipe in an old cookbook that belonged to my wife's aunt.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender or with a mixer.
  2. Pour mixture into a 10 inch pie plate.
  3. Bake 350F approximately 1 hour or until centre is firm.
  4. NOTE: This pie makes its own crust. Very good with ice cream.

I put the coconut in a mini chopper for a finer texture, but otherwise followed the recipe. The custard part of the pie is excellent, but the top layer - crust- was a tad dry. Thank you for sharing the recipe! :-)

My mother made this for years. It is YUMMY served warm with ice cream. Easy to make too, as you don't need to fuss making a pastry crust, because it makes its own. It is good cold too. THanks for posting this Bluenoser!
