  • Preheat oven to 400F (205C).
  • Grease 10" pie plate.
  • Layer cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese in plate.
  • Mix beef, herbs, tomato paste and Mozarella cheese.
  • Spoon beef mixture on top.
  • Beat milk, eggs, salt and pepper in blender on HIGH until smooth (about 1 minute).
  • Pour into plate.
  • Bake at 400F (205C) for 30 to 35 minutes or unril knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.

  1. Sorry maybe it is just me, but I do not see the instructions on when to add the bisquick baking mix, I am thinking it needs to go in with the milk/egg mixture in the blender??
     
  2. This was easy to put together and the kids (and my husband) really enjoyed it. I thought it was too salty, but that can be easily fixed. The meat mixture, along with the cottage cheese and the parm was really tasty. The "pie" crust on top was fine, but I'd rather just eat the meat mixture with some pasta. But this was clever and fun and I enjoyed serving this lunch to my family.
     
  3. This was really tasty. I love bisquick impossible pies, you really can't go wrong!
     
  4. I was really happy with the way this turned out. I used as many low fat and fat free ingredients as I could and it turned out great. My husband is usually not too keen on eggy (quiche-like) meals, but he really liked this.
