I love mushrooms, and I learned how to cook them better from usiing this recipe. As "riffraff" said in her review, not stirring them helps to keep them from shriveling. I used olive oil instead of margarine. Loved this recipe, thanks for posting, Sandi.
This is a great little recipe. The key is to leave them alone in the beginning to let them begin to cook and not seep all their juices. This recipe takes that into consideration like a pro. I served with chicken and will use this recipe with steak in the future.
