Imitation Crab Casserole

"Old bf used to make this for me. Even though he wasn't any good his food always was."

• Ingredients: 8
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 1 lb imitation crabmeat, diced
• 1⁄8 teaspoon ground mustard
• salt & pepper
• breadcrumbs
• hot cooked rice

• White sauce

• 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter
• 1⁄2 cup flour
• 2 cups milk

directions

1. Make 2 cups white sauce.
2. Add diced crabmeat to white sauce.
3. Stir, let thicken.
4. Add mustard, salt and pepper.
5. Stir and simmer.
6. Put all into casserole dish.
7. Top with breadcrumbs.
8. Cook at 350 for about 30 minutes.
9. Serve over rice.

I rarely use imitation crab, but it was on sale at the grocery store recently. Thank you for this recipe: my hubby ate EVERYTHING!! He just loved it.
