you can use less peppers if you prefer milder salsa. My DH slathers this stuff on everything. A wonderful way to use your garden produce.
- 6 assorted heirloom tomatoes, chopped
- 2 banana peppers, seeded and chopped
- 4 fresh cayenne peppers, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- salt and pepper
- throw everything together in a bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before eating.
