  1. Stir marinade ingredients together until the sugar is dissolved. Cut the flank steak into 1/2 inch lengthwise; slice diagonally against the grain into 1/4 inch slices.
  2. Skewer the meat with water soaked bamboo skewers. Place in marinade for 15-20 minutes. Broil or BBQ until done.

As you can tell by my photo, I used boneless/skinless chicken breast instead of the flank steak, as I didn't catch the flank steak in the ingredients when I tagged this in PRMR Tag Game. But can say it is excellent on chicken and would guess it is as good on flank steak. I made it as written, except I made 1/2 of the recipe and used brown sugar. Served the chicken with rice, corn on the cob and grilled, glazed onions. We grilled the chicken and a kebab of onions and basted them for the first turnings on the grill with the marinade, so good!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe Hill Family!!!

This had good flavor - I put some bell pepper and onion in between the pieces of meat to have a more complete meal. I doubled the marinade (for the veggies), and used Splenda in place of the sugar. Pretty good stuff! Made for PRMR Tag Game.
