    I love Green Tea, I can never seem to get it strong enough to serve over ice. So, I added a regular tea bag and a hint of Orange. This is a wonderful iced tea. You can add sugar if you prefer "sweetened" tea.

    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Fill 1 qt sauce pan w.
    2. 2
      water (almost to top).
    3. 3
      Add Green Tea Bags, regular tea bag and orange zest.
    4. 4
      Heat to boiling, reduce heat to medium.
    5. 5
      Simmer 5-10 minutes.
    6. 6
      (Water will reduce) Remove from heat, cool, pour into 2 quart Pitcher and add water to fill pitcher (add ice cubes first, then water to serve instantly) Refrigerate.

      Very nice, Shannon. And, yes, I did need to add some Splenda! The zest was a deal maker. And the tea ratio was just right. Thnx so much for posting. Made for Comfort Cafe Summer 2009.

      Love this recipe. I prefer it without sugar or sweetner. When I make it, I ususally double the recipe and keep it in the refigerator for up to a week.
