- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 eggs
- 3 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped
directions
- Mix togetherthe sugars, margarine and eggs until well blended. Stir in flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and nuts.
- Shape into a roll or pack into a square freezer container.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Slice 1/4" thick. Nake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
