My family and I are trying to be more health conscious these days and eat meals with less fat. I wanted to create a Ranch dressing that was healthy but still had the awesome Ranch taste that we all love. When I made this for the first time I served it on salad and didn't tell my DH and kids. I told them at the end that it was a homemade lowfat Ranch and they couldnt' believe it. This dressing has so little to no fat you won't have any guilt eating it.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Mix all ingredients together. Serve on salad, over a baked potato or with some crisp raw veggies.

This was a great light dressing. I actually used lemon light and fit yogurt that is about 80 calories a cup and skipped on the sour cream and this came out as a great dressing. Much more thick than the normal kind of dressing (low cal and not) too, and the lemon gave it a great kick!

This recipe is too yogurty and it overpowers the ranch seasoning (we used high quality yogurt and sour cream btw). The flavors conflict. This ruined our chef salads. :( It's probably much better on a baked potato, but definitely don't put it on a salad.
