Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Make a well in the center of flour mix; set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine egg, buttermilk, and green onions. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mix. Stir just until moistened(batter should be lumpy).
  3. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into deep, hot fat(375). Fry for 3 minutes or until golden brow.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve warm!
