Yummy! Smells great while it cooks. Mine needed 7 hours on low which surprised me, my crockpot usually cooks pretty fast. Served with a side of pasta for a lovely meal. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for PAC Fall 2007.

Tender and flavorful. I skipped the browning in the skillet and just put everything in the slow cooker. As per your suggestion in step five, I did thicken the gravy but used cornstarch in place of flour. Awesome with creamy mashed potatoes. Thanx for this great easy recipe; I'll use it again.
