  • 1 12 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 Crystal Light sugar free low calorie lemonade mix (individual packet)
  • 6 ounces diet lemon-lime soda

Directions

  1. Combine tequila and lime juice; stir in Crystal Light packet until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add diet soda and stir; pour over crushed ice and garnish with lime slice, if desired.

This is an excellent lower-cal alternative when you're craving a yummy margarita! I made the mistake of actually making the lemonade (adding water to the mix), and that even tasted good and not at all watered down. 1 1/2 oz of tequila by itself = 96 calories, so keep that in mind!

This is surprisingly really good. I make mine on the rocks just like the recipe says and it is awesome.

I've been making this recipe for a few months now and mine is just a bit different. I use 1/2cup of tequila to a standard blender, 4T lime juice and then pour over 15 large ice cubes along with the diet lemon/lime soda and the Crystal Light Lemonade packet. This makes 4 smaller servings. Really very good.
