This Hungarian lecso is made with eggs
- 3 tomatoes, cut up small
- 3 fresh green peppers, cut up small
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion
- 1⁄2 lb salami, diced
- First fry the onions in the oil.
- add tomatoes and peppers, and cook until peppers are soft.
- add the diced salami and pour the beaten eggs over the mixture just before removing from the heat.
I changed the salami for Viennese Frankfurters, as my family don't really like salami, and it was delicious! My hysband can't have peppers as they repeat on him, any ideas?
