Hungarian Cream Cheese Spread

This is absolutely delicious! When I was a little girl my friend Patty's Mum made this for lunch. Serve it on pumpernickle or caraway rye bread with a garnish of green pepper rings...it makes a wonderful and unique sandwich or a spread when entertaining!

So extremely simple, & so extremely tasty, expecially on the pumpernickle bread! I sliced the green pepper VERY thin, not wanting its taste to overtake that of the other ingredients! Definitely want to serve this & have a choice of a pumpernickle or a rye or a whole wheat bread! Very, very nice addition to my fingerfoods cookbook!   1. mix cream cheese and paprika.
  2. (It should become salmon coloured).
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. Spread generously over bread.
  5. Garnish with thin green pepper slices.
  6. YUM! EAT IT ALL UP!
