- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
- 1⁄4 cup slivered almonds
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
directions
- 1. Drain liquid from can of chickpeas and reserve for later.
- 2. Place all ingredients into food processor and blend until smooth.
- 3. Add half of liquid from chickpeas or all for thinner hummus.
