  1. Clean and boil the octopus until perfectly tender.
  2. Slice the tentacles into thin rounds and the body into short strips.
  3. Prepare a dressing by beating 3 parts of oil and 1 part of vinegar or lemon juice with a little oregano.
  4. Arrange the octopus on a platter, pour the dressing over it and garnish with olives.
