Every time I make an ice ring I use this recipe for the ring. Depending on what I am going to put it in depends on whether I use fruit punch, water or gingerale. With the Christmas drink I was making (it had rum in it) I used water this last time and it was excellent! I make 2 so the drink will stay cold throughout the evening and you can have more than 1 batch this way too!

This was an excellent idea to make for a back yard barbecue. We had nice cold drinks all day long after making 3 of these for our family BBQ!

This kept our punch cold for Easter day and worked out real well. I made 2 of them so we had enough for the whole day! It really adds flavor to the punch that we all loved!

My aunt told me about this recipe for an ice ring, so I had to try it. I needed an ice ring for a punch recipe we were making for our family Thanksgiving celebration. This one is an excellent one to use. It looked great floating in the punch and the fruit taste in the punch from the fruits was excellent! Thanks Aunt Linda for this one!

Excellent idea!!! I made punch, So Simple Punch, for my DD's college graduation and wanted an ice ring to float in it, to help keep it cold. (I made 2 molds, in case the first one melted fast). The mold looked so pretty floating in the punch (I used my tupperware mold, but a plastic bowl would work just fine too) and it did the trick of keeping the punch nice and cold all evening! The citrus in the punch gave it a great flavor too. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Made this ring to go in Punch for our holiday barbecue today. Worked great and kept our punch nice and cold and deliciously flavored. Loved all the citrusy flavor from the fruits. I will use this often when I make my punch from now on!
