There are a million and one ways to make a hot toddy. This one uses cognac and hot brewed tea.
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 1⁄2 ounces cognac
- hot brewed black tea
- 1 lemon slice, studded with
- 3 whole cloves
- Add the brown sugar and cognac to an Irish coffee glass or mug; stir to partially dissolve the sugar.
- Fill the mug with the hot tea, stirring to combine.
- Garnish with the clove-studded lemon slice; serve immediately.
