I first found this recipe in a Low Fat Time Life Recipe book. I love pasta and have finally found that I am needing to add extras to plain pastas to please my own taste buds.=)

  1. In a large nonstick pan heat 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Saute garlic until soft.
  3. Add scallops, cover, and cook for just a few minutes.
  4. When scallops are opaque take out of pan and set in large mixing bowl.
  5. Add the juices, paste, 1 tbsp of olive oil, chili powder, salt, and pepper flakes to the pan with the garlic.
  6. On high heat bring to a boil and stir until mixture is thick.
  7. Pour mixture over the scallops and add peppers, cucumbers, onion, and parsley-stir.
  8. Toss in the ziti and stir some more.
