I really liked this. It was a "different" type of salad for us. I followed the recipe other then I used a pound of hamburger. This was very tasty and easy to make. Thanks for the great recipe Sharon!
Yummy Taco salad! I made it using ground Turkey, didn't add the rice used black beans instead & used Mexican cheese blend.I am going to try it with the rice-a-roni, sounds good. Thank you Sharon!
Good recipe...we really kicked up the spices tho, adding extra chili powder and salsa. Served it with some Ranch dressing and homemade chips!
Wonderful salad! I made my meat a little more like chili and used beans instead of Rice-a-Roni. It was so good, that we'd eaten 1/2 before we remembered to take a picture. That accounts for the small serving in the picture! Thanks for sharing
Sharon, this was delicious! The rice added to the beef made for a hearty dinner salad. We served the salad in taco shell bowls vs using tortilla chips. It's a keeper!
This was very good! We have been making taco salads for years but for some reason, I have never added rice. I had about 1/2 a can of black beans leftover in the refrig, so I threw those in, as well as black olives and chopped avocado on the top, and of course, a huge dollop of sour cream. We will be making this again!!
This was great! I served it over a fried tortilla shell that i made in my deep fryer. The flavors blended well and it was a great salad overall. To add some extra heat i added a tiny little bit of chopped jalepeno as well as some additional salt and pepper. Thanks this was a treat!
