  • Bring water to boiling in a saucepan.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add the teabags.
  • Cover and steep 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove bags.
  • Stir in spices and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Simmer one minute longer.
  • Add juices.
  • Pour into 4 glasses. Garnish with orange slices.

  1. This tea smells so nice as it is brewing. I don't normally use sugar in my tea but this definitely does need it to cut the bitterness of the lemon juice. I assumed that you meant to say 1/4 C of orange juice so that is what I used. Made for Comfort Cafe Jan 2010.
     
  2. This was a great morning tea. The juices wern't overpowering but supported the Oolong tea that I used beautifully. That said I did use a fresh cinnamon stick in the cup for the sipping duration. Made for Comfort Cafe, Jan 09.
