Directions

  1. Add the first 5 ingredients to a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in apple cider and lemon juice; cook until well heated.
  4. Serve hot.

I loved this hot drink. I don't care for nutmeg, so I substituted that with ground cloves. I also only had enough lemon for 1/4 cup of juice, but this was still delicious.
