This is really good and made the house smell great! Wasn't sure about the clove? 1 clove? But instructions said clove"s" so I used about 1/2 tablespoon of them stuck into the orange. I sliced the orange in half to get more flavor from it. I will use less brown sugar next time. I omitted the salt for dietary reasons, and I don't think it would enhance the cider any?

Delicious and I think healthier than some other hot spiced ciders because of the cranberry juice and orange. I only used 3 cinnamon sticks (but next time I'll use the 4) and I didn't know if the orange was supposed to be peeled or not. I peeled the orange and used 2 cloves. Next time I will add 2 more cloves though to make it a bit more spicy. This smells so good warming in the crockpot all morning. Thanks for sharing!
