I LOVE Reuben sandwiches, but was the only one in my house, UNTIL I made this dip and got the kids to try it! This dip is so easy to make, and so wonderful to taste, that even my "skeptical" children had to admit that they liked it too! I was hoping to have a little bit leftover, but no dice...Excellent recipe!! I used Hellman's mayo, Kraft thousand island dressing, and I used Bavarian sauerkraut and it turned out perfect! Thank you so much for posting this, Parrot Head Mama! It's a keeper in my family!!!

This went over great at our euchre group! I just mixed it up and put it in a hollowed out rye round loaf and wrapped in foil and baked for about an hour....it was perfect....

I made this to take to a family gathering over the weekend and everyone loved it. I just mixed everything together and then baked it and it turned out great. Thanks.

I made this as an appetizer for a family get together and it was well received. It does taste exactly like a reuben sandwich. Next time I will try replacing the corned beef with sliced deli turkey to appeal to a larger crowd (and a little healthier). This dish can be a very messy when trying to dip bread in (because it is so thick) make sure to have a small spreading knife or spoon.

Oh my goodness! I loved this dip. DD and I couldn't keep our crackers out of it....LOL. I put this in the crock pot to keep warm and it was perfect. My guests enjoyed it too. It was one of those dips that you don't see all the time, so was gobbled up quickly. Thank you for posting.

This was a fabulous dip. Very forgiving on the amounts if you need to adjust. I used canned sauerkraut and it was delicious. Less mayo, more thousand island, less cheese. It is an anything goes combination. Thanks for sharing.

I made this as written except I used Catalina dressing instead of thousand island. Everyone at our Christmas Eve party loved it.

Yum, this was good! I made this for an appetizer party tonight. It was a definite hit. I served it with both cocktail rye bread and rye Melba toasts. I had to give several people the recipe. Thanks for posting.

Fabulous! Made this for a group of 8 and it just disappeared. I also chopped up the sauerkraut. Used 2 kinds of rye bread cut into suares for spreading. Thanks PHM.

If you like Reubens, you love this. The only thing I did different was to chop up the sauerkraut a little bit. I served this with the little party-size rye bread and everyone raved. Thanks AGAIN, Parrot Head Mama.
