  • Cook bacon until crisp, and crumble.
  • Cook onion in bacon fat until lightly browned.
  • Blend in flour, add bacon, vinegar and water, seasoning.
  • Bring to boil, add potatoes, mixing lightly.
  • heat; may cool and use later.
