I, too got this out of Taste of Home several years ago and have made it several times. It's a real winner. Every time I serve it, the dish is clean! I can't imagine there is a better Hot Pizza Dip out there!
This is great! Very yummy, thanks for the recipe!
I made this for our Super Bowl gathering... and I think it lasted about 5 minutes (which is good, since that's about how long it took to make). It was a huge hit; everyone loved it! The instructions weren't specific about the peppers... but I added some pepperoni too and put it all on top of the dip like I would a real pizza. I didn't find it overly cheesy at all... but I used a full cup of pizza sauce (maybe more) and it was the perfect balance. I used garlic and parm pita chips for dipping... mmmmmm!
Yummy, yummy, yummy! I made this for the Superbowl and it was devoured. We ate with the roasted garlic Triscuits and regular ruffles, but I definitely think it is best with the Triscuits. I used 1 cup of pizza sauce and omitted the peppers. I added some pepperoni as well. I made this a day ahead of time to blend the flavors.
I thought this recipe was very tasty, and super easy. We served it with triscuts, carrots, celery and tortilla chips. It was a huge hit, it didn't even have time to get cold!!
Wow after 18 '5 star' ratings I hate to be the first to say this was just OK. It was just way too much cheese...one big sticky bowl of cheese. Perhaps like most I should have used more pizza sauce but I only had the half cup left over from pizza night. I ended up taking a fork and mixing it up so that it would be less gooey. Maybe it was the quality of cheese (or lack of it!!) It was a pre-shredded pizza blend. I even added roasted garlic, red pepper flakes and more seasoning to the cream cheese to jazz it up. Hmmm...don't think I'll be trying it again.
Very good. My friends could not wait to dig into this. It was gone in no time. The recipe leaves out the peppers in the instructions I do know if anyone else noticed that. Well, I added them along w/ 1/2 c chopped pepperoni before the pizza sauce.
Delicious! I made this for an appetizer potluck at the office. I baked it the night before, then stuck it in the fridge. I heated it up in the microwave and it was fine. I recommend serving with panetini, oven-baked Italian toast, sold prepackaged at the grocer.
I brought this to work today and it was devoured! Tastes just like pizza. That you so much KC.This recipe is an absolute keeper. NUMMERS!
This dip was very good! I added pepperoni to mine and used garlic-flavored bagel chips for dipping. Excellent!
