This is so good ... I love to exchange rum for the schnapps in this recipe.
- 2 (40 ounce) bottles peach juice
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup peach schnapps
- cinnamon stick
- peach slices (to garnish)
- Heat the peach juice, brown sugar and four cinnamon sticks in a very large pot until boiling. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3 minuters.
- Remove the cinnamon sticks and add the peach schnapps. Serve in individual glasses with additional cinnamon sticks and peach slices.
