  1. Chop onions. Add oil to skillet and saute onions until they are a translucent. Add tomato sauce, hot sauce, pepper flakes, black pepper, and garlic salt. Mix together and simmer with a cover on it for about 5 minutes. Serve over hot dogs or even hamburgers if you like.

This is some spicy stuff! I used Frank's hot sauce which is not even close to the heat level in other hot sauces. It also probably imparted a more vinegary flavor than the others would have. This would be a hit with the guys at a backyard bbq of burgers or links. Made for Spring '09 Pick A Chef.
