My friend Susie D recommended these to me and it just so happened I was making French Dinner Rolls French Dinner Rolls so I thought why not! I saved enough dough to make 9 good sized knots and I used Franks Red Hot Wings- Hot Buffalo Sauce. I'm sorry I didn't make the dip but I was thinking ranch would be a good dipper too. At first my DS and I were tentative, then we wanted just 1 more, then I caught him pulling one apart as he walked through the kitchen... lol they are addicting! Thanks for sharing a fun recipe. I was thinking pretzel dough that has gone through the water bath (they dry quickly) and then brushed with the sauce might be worth a try too.

The vibrant glaze is spicy with a sweet note and delicious on the soft bread! It's not too hot too enjoy, but the heat is there. I made pizza dough in the bread machine & used half to tie into 12 knots. I mixed half amounts of the sauce/glaze and had more than enough to coat the knots and some leftover to brush on pretzel rods. I didn't make the dip this time. I thought these would be a great finger food for a Superbowl party or tailgate and with the bright orange color they would also fit right in at an adult Halloween party. I know I'll be making them again! Thank you for sharing the recipe! Made for Spring 2011 Pick A Chef~ You were adopted. :-)
