Rich hot fudge sauce -- also great cooled and used for truffles.
- Melt chocolate & butter in a saucepan. Add the sugar. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Bring to a boil then reduce heat. Boil gently over low heat for 8 minutes – stir frequently. Remove saucepan from heat & cool slightly. Serve warm over ice cream, cake, whatever you wish.
- If using for truffles, chill sauce and using a small spoon roll into balls. Roll balls in cocoa powder, nuts, coconut, whatever you wish. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
