A fudgy cake smothered in a hot, chocolaty sauce...what more could you ask for? Found this recipe in my "Looneyspoons" cookbook by Janet & Greta Podleski. When you are looking for a dessert that is quick & easy to prepare, this is it. It claims to have only 285 calories per serving.

I really love this recipe! To make it just a little bit healthier I used carob powder instead of cocoa and it is just a yummy!

I have, recently been going through the Looney Spoon series...trying anything (and everything) that has appealed to me. This would be a good recipe to keep on hand as you would most likely have the ingredients available at all times. My type of entertaining is "spur of the moment"...friends are invited over at the last minute and I start getting creative with what I have to offer. This is not overly sweet or dense dessert, as some chocolate recipes can be. I would do this recipe again!
