I grew up in Detroit. There was nothing I liked to do more than to ride my bike to Sanders and get their hot fudge cream puff. Believe me this was living! This recipe came from a Copy cat type show on WJR 760 on the am dial. I've had it since the 1980s.
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (the better quality the better the fudge)
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 14 ounces corn syrup
- 1⁄2 lb butter
- In a large bowl over a pot of boiling water, mix all ingredients and melt together. Serve over ice cream.
