  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 -2 onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) package hot dogs, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • hot sauce

directions

  • Put everything except hot sauce into large pot, cover with water and cook until done.
  • May add tomato juice if desired instead of some of the water (I usually do).
  • Add hot sauce during the last 15 minutes of cooking.

  1. My mom use to make something simular. She used green onion instead of regular onion and tomato sauce instead of diced tomatoes and she added ground allspice. We ate it over steamed rice. My son growing up used to say it was his favorite
