  1. This was good! I enjoyed the cornbread topping a lot. I do think there was something missing in the filling, but I suspect it was the quality of baked beans I used rather than a problem with the recipe itself. Because I don't eat pork I used vegetarian baked beans and turkey hot dogs, and it worked out just fine. I think what I wanted in the sauce was something sweet, like karo syrup (my mom always puts it in baked beans) or brown sugar. I will definitely keep this one around; thanks for posting!

  3. This is a great tasting casserole. The onions and corn added to the topping really make it special. My cornbread topping rose nicely, and the "beenie weenies" underneath made for a mouth-watering combination. DH loved it, too! Thanks for a great recipe.

  4. I enjoyed the flavor the worcestershire sauce added to this recipe. I was easy to make. I used can corn that I had drained. The daycare kids loved it. Thanks for a new way to use up the hot dogs in the refrig.

  5. I thought this was a good recipe, I felt the cornbread was not as done as I would like but I imagine that is from the liquid in the recipe, I have had this same experience with dishes that bread is on top of. I did follow the recipe and even used store bought baked beans, I also admit they are not as good as my homemade ones. Am going to try with chili next time and see if it doesn't takes like a corn dog.
