    TTFN, Dorie's Note:

I found this recipe on another website and decided to try it out during a family get together. Everyone loved it and it only lasted 10 minutes at the party! Its not that same old recipe with mini viennas, this one is different and great tasting! If you want to have enough for you to try, better make extra!

This recipe was great for our Halloween party. Simple basic ingredients, and very easy. Just a couple things changed so I could put a sign on my crockpot that said "BARBEQUE TAPEWORMS"...lol. Boil a large pot of water. Cut the hot dogs in half and then in strips. Drop them into the boiling water, 1# at a time. Boil for a few minutes. It gets the grease out of the hot dogs, and also makes them curl up - for better tapeworm presentation. Follow the rest of the recipe, also adding a dash of hot pepper seeds and 2 dashes of worchestershire.
You also inspired my "PETRIFIED WORMS". I used 1# of hot dogs, cut in the same strips. Tiny bit of butter in the pan and fry them. Fried hot dogs..everyone likes them ;) Makes a small bowl. Thanks for the great recipe!!
