- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 cup green pepper, chopped
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 15 ounces corn, canned
- 15 ounces peas, canned
- 10 3⁄4 ounces tomato soup, canned condensed
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
directions
- Brown the ground beef with the onion, celery and green pepper in a skillet, season well with salt and pepper.
- Drain excess fat.
- Cook the egg noodles and drain.
- Pour noodles into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
- Drain the canned vegetables.
- Pour the canned vegetables on top of the noodles.
- Pour the ground beef mixture over all and mix.
- Pour the can of tomato soup over the top (do not add water!).
- Mix again.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Stir once during bake time.
