Sampled this in the grocery store once and really liked it. Posting in response to a request for Christmas Party recipes.

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine all ingredients;mix well.
  3. Spoon mixture into a deep 2 cup oven proof casserole dish.
  4. Bake 15 minutes, stirring after 8 minutes.
  5. Garnish with toasted sliced alomnds if desired.
  6. Serve warm with vegetables, crackers, breadsticks.

This is one of my favourite dips, never fails, always well received. Found my version of it a few years ago in a Kraft Wine and Cheese Preparation & Serving Guide pamphlet, and it's exactly the same, except it calls for 1/3 cup chopped green onions, and garnishing with slivered almonds at the end of baking. MMMMMmmmmm, divine!

Excellent recipe! As with other reviewer, original calls for 1/8 tsp. nutmeg and 1/8 tsp. pepper so I just make it with it. The cream cheese is 8 ounces ( for those who don't know grams)

This is a sure crowd pleaser. I have a recipe almost like this but you add 1/8 tsp nutmeg and 1/8 tsp ground pepper.
